In view of the current logistics needs and the development of drone product technology, this paper systematically summarized the current situation of "delivery vehicle+drone" logistics distribution, the application scenarios and characteristics of delivery vehicles and drones, the mode and benefits of joint logistics distribution, the software, hardware and algorithms involved and other core technologies. Then the paper made the suggestion of further more design from the aspects of drones, vehicle loads, intelligent path planning, portal websites, safety, etc. Combined with the differences in transportation scenarios between urban and rural areas, as well as differences in the variety of transportation items, a targeted and differentiated operation and management mode was proposed. The current risks faced by the industry such as unmatched laws and regulations, immature industries, operational security, and data privacy were analyzed, and targeted suggestions were proposed from the perspectives of legal norms, technology platforms, green and low-carbon, multi-scenario collaboration, and assessment.
