摘要
交通标志信息认知的有效性直接影响交通行为的安全和舒适程度,在交通标志设计时应当
重点关注。以信息论为基础,从研究交通标志传递的交通信息入手,引入满足需求程度、易于理
解程度和预先学习程度作为计算指标,建立信息熵模型。选取中国、美国、日本和英国的城市主
干路交叉口交通指路标志进行案例分析,应用信息熵模型计算交通标志传递的交通信息认知的有
效性。研究发现:信息熵模型可有效量化交通标志信息认知水平,进而科学地反映交通标志版面
的优劣;由于传递了需求程度较高且易于理解的信息,中国组实验标志信息认知程度较高。
Abstract
For the information cognition effectiveness of traffic sign directly impacts the safety and com⁃
fort of traffic behavior, it should be paid more attention to in designing traffic sign. Based on the informa⁃
tion theory, the traffic information transferring by the traffic sign was studied, and the information entro⁃
py model was established. The model had three calculation indexes, including the demand meeting de⁃
gree, the understandable degree and the prior learning degree. Traffic guide signs in China, USA, Japan
and UK were selected as the study cases. The cognition effectiveness of traffic information transferring
by these signs was calculated via information entropy model. The results show that the information entro⁃
py model can effectively quantify the level of traffic information cognition and scientifically reflect the
pros and cons of traffic sign layout; for the experimental sign of China transfers the information that has
higher demanding degree and is more easily understood, it can be cognized more easily.
