Directions and Driving Force of China′s Express Delivery Industry Transformation During the 15th Five-Year Plan Period under the Background of Artificial Intelligence

As the core pillar of the modern logistics system, the express delivery industry is closely connected to the development of the economy and society. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the express delivery industry has ushered in a favorable opportunity for transformation and upgrading. In order to clarify the transformation directions and logical thinking of the express delivery industry under the background of artificial intelligence, the paper comprehensively examined the current status of intelligent transformation in the express delivery industry at first, and deeply analyzed the profound impact of artificial intelligence technology on the express delivery industry. On this basis, the transformation direction of the express delivery industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period driven by artificial intelligence was discussed in detail, and five development logics were proposed, including policy guidance, reshaping of market competition pattern, technological integration and innovation, refined management, and green and sustainable development. Under the above development logics, specific suggestions were proposed in five aspects: building a sound mechanism for collecting and sharing basic data, accelerating the intelligentization of infrastructure, promoting technological innovation and application expansion, strengthening talent cultivation and team building, and enhancing data security and privacy protection. The aim is to provide valuable references for the future development of China′s express delivery industry and help it achieve more efficient, intelligent, green, and sustainable development.
